Seems I haven't wrote down anything since the days I was in the army, which is over a year already, so I think I'll give it a try.
As you can guess, my military service is complete, I became a citizen again on December 10th, 2014. so it's almost a year.
But that's not recent news, of course.
I started a new job of mine, aerial filming and photography is the thing, so I had to work during the summer.
Now that summer's over, I have some more time for myself and the stuff I want to do.
I recently had my birthday and I chose to go out there and drink some nice beer to a rock 'n' metal bar that I prefer these days.
I stumbled upon a beer named "Gulden Draak", which is made in Belgium and is a 10,5% volume masterpiece.
Needless to say, I drank a ton, I was dreaming about adventures of the Nord/Scotch/Celts (I have no idea),
and when I awoke, I didn't even think about making a coffee to get my eyes open.
I just did a fridge-siege against the helpless members of the sausage tribe,
who hopelessly tried to establish their little settlement inside my fridge.
I even thought about wearing a kilt and getting out there,
throwing tree trunks for morning exercise, for Gods' sake!
And as if this wasn't enough to bring back this peculiar Celt-related nostalgia I have every autumn,
today I went to a friend's backyard and tried some medieval swordsmanship practice.
Swords, shields and stuff. I liked both one-handed sword, sword 'n' shield and longsword techniques.
Yep, that was a nice way of topping it off, and I have the feeling that this will become a hobby of mine, soon enough.
Other than that, I started reading Metro 2033, which is a great book. Metro 2034 is right here too, waiting for its turn.
And I try to finish one of my latest Stalker props, which is a S.C.B.A. air tank, not exactly the way they look in the game, but I'm sure the result will be nice.
